Cattivi

We call them evil because they do not bend, and in their eyes we read a freedom that escapes our control; placed within domestic spaces yet removed from their natural contexts, their presence does not break elegance but runs through it, making it more authentic and primordial.

They frighten us not out of malice, but because they force us to overturn our perspective, to move beyond the clichés that make us believe that whatever is untamable must necessarily be cruel.

When they seem to want to dominate us, perhaps they are only seeking a connection we have forgotten how to welcome, reminding us that the boundary between ferocity and innocence exists above all in our own gaze.
